Headache, Neck Pain, Jaw & Face Pain, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD), and Other Related Disorders

Many medical and dental health problems are related to the balance of the jaws, muscles, bite, and the TMJ - jaw joint.  Some conditions that may be helped by TMJ related therapies are the following:

+ HEAD PAIN
+ NECK, SHOULDER, AND BACK PAIN
+ EYE AND SINUS AREA PAIN
+ VERTIGO, DIZZINESS
+ "WHIPLASH" -TRAUMA- FACE/NECK INJURY
+ TOOTHACHES
+ BRUXING - TENSION MUSCLE PAIN
+ FACIAL PAINS AND NEURALGIA
+ EAR PAIN, RINGING/ LOSS OF HEARING

The severity and frequency of these symptoms can range from a mild and intermittent, to ultra-severe, constant and intractable.

TMJ related problems are most often mistaken for migraine, sinusitis and problems originating in the teeth themselves.  This, in many cases, prevents proper addressing and resolution of the problems.

For further information about this problem, symptoms, causes, treatment, and the way it effects sufferers lives, see TMJ Syndrome: The Overlooked Diagnosis.
